Our Women’s Basic Handgun course is designed exclusively for women who want to learn how to protect themselves with confidence and peace of mind. This class focuses on the fundamentals of owning and operating a firearm safely and effectively.
Class Requirements:
- Pistol and Ammunition: Participants must bring their own pistol and 50 rounds of ammunition. If you do not own a pistol, we offer gun rentals for a nominal fee of $10 per gun.
- Rental Ammunition: For those renting pistols, you may either bring your own approved ammunition or opt to purchase it directly from the instructor for convenience.
- Protective Gear: Eye and ear protection are required during the range time to ensure safety.
Course Details:
- Exclusive for Women: Tailored specifically for women, this course provides a comfortable and supportive environment for learning.
- Basic Firearm Fundamentals: Learn the essential aspects of handgun safety, operation, and maintenance.
- Classroom and Range Time: The course includes 1 hour of classroom instruction followed by 1.5 hours of range time, where you will practice with 50 rounds of ammunition.

As a licensed USCCA Instructor for Georgia and a SLED-approved CWP Instructor for South Carolina, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our training programs. Additionally, my experience as a United States Practical Shooting Association Competition shooter enriches the training environment with practical, real-world insights.
